Most recently Chris was manager of Thackley reserves where he developed a squad of talented young players before recently stepping down and deciding to take up the opportunity to rejoin Harley at the Old Showfield.

Chairman Kai Arter said "Chris and Harley have worked together previously and complement each other in their respective styles. I have been very impressed by their plans and ambition for the club. It is great to see that the enthusiasm that they bring and they are already actively looking to bring in new players to strengthen the existing squads. "

Chris Holland said "I am delighted to be appointed as joint first team manager of Otley Town FC. I am excited to work alongside Harley Hirst and the rest of the staff across our four senior Saturday teams, and am confident that we can bring the club success in the short and long term. Harley and I have a proven track record of working well together and I’m excited to share a dugout with him again next season.

I have been impressed by the club's ambition and its commitment to developing young players, it was a pleasure to spend time at the junior festival over the bank holiday weekend and see hundreds of young footballers enjoying the game at our club. I believe that we have the potential to achieve great things together.

I am looking forward to meeting the players, and can't wait to get started!"

The club will hold a 'meet and greet' session on 24th June at 1pm for existing and new players and supporters to meet Harley and Chris, followed by pre season starting on 1 July with an open training session for all players, existing, new or returning.
