Otley Town Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Suddes as First Team Manager with immediate effect following a spell as interim manager.

In addition to his role as interim manager, Suddes has worked with the Club’s under 16 and under 21 sides, as well as gaining valuable experience of the professional game at the Middlesbrough FC academy set up in his native North East.

Chairman Kai Arter said “The Club received some very strong applications and we thank everyone for their time and interest in the Club during the interview process. Richard impressed the committee with his knowledge of the game and his professionalism. He shares the long terms objectives for the Club on and off the pitch and brings some continuity to the team following his spell as interim manager.“

Suddes commented “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to manage my adopted home town Club and see the massive potential that exists. My objective is to develop a squad that can bring long term, sustainable, success to the Club.”
